News 10.05.10 An orthopedic manufacturer is under heavy scrutiny after their August 26th 2010 recall of 93,000 artificial hip devices, including the DePuy ASR Hip Resurfacing System and the ASR XL Acetabular System. DePuy Orthopedics, a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson, is advising hip implant patients who had their procedure performed after July 2003 to visit their doctor if they experience any of the following: Pain in the area of the implant Popping noises in the hip area Difficulty walking Patients that require a second surgery (revision surgery) to replace the faulty devices are encouraged to contact a DePuy hip replacement lawyer for lawsuit information.
